Momentum, The Georgia Ballet’s outreach program, gives underprivileged children the opportunity to learn the basics of dance training. In this special residency program involving partnerships with Title I schools, students focus on musicality, rhythm, quality of movement and basic dance terminology. Each of The Georgia Ballet’s Arts in Education programs allows educators the opportunity to share the Arts, specifically dance education, with their students either through live theatrical performance or a hands-on approach to learning - an opportunity that many students do not often have. All programs meet Georgia Quality Core Curriculum Standards, and study guides are provided to enhance the experience of each program.
