Carnival of the Animals This fun and fast-paced zoological program celebrates the worlds of dance, music, and literature. Camille Saint-Saëns’s musical suite The Carnival of the Animals comes to life with the humorous verses of Ogden Nash and The Georgia Ballet dancers that accompany each movement. Every student will have the opportunity to take part in this interactive and delightful performance. The Georgia Ballet Presents: Dance 101 Learn about a variety of theatrical dance forms in this fast-paced and engaging program. From classical ballet to jazz, modern, folk dancing, and more, The Georgia Ballet will keep you moving! Students will watch performances of various dance styles and then learn some dances themselves, enhancing their self-expression and relationship to music in this informative program. Discover Dance with The Georgia Ballet Students will experience dance history and culture in this entertaining review of theatrical dance forms. Experience excerpts from classic to contemporary pieces in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, and folk dancing. Following the performance, students will have the opportunity to ask questions in a stimulating and engaging discussion about the world of dance.
