Ways to Support the Ballet
The Georgia Ballet as a not-for-profit
The Georgia Ballet is a not-for profit arts
organization that offers excellence in dance
performance, training and arts in education
outreach. Tuition and ticket sales do not and
cannot cover the Ballet’s operating expenses.
Part of the mission of regional arts organizations
is to keep art accessible by keeping ticket prices
and tuition low. This means that, in addition
to applying dancer-like precision to keeping
expenses in line, the Ballet takes on the additional
responsibility of raising 30% of its budget from
foundations, businesses and individuals. The
Ballet applies for grants from corporations and
foundations, solicits corporate sponsorships and
in-kind giving, conducts an annual fund drive and
organizes fundraising events throughout the year.
We solicit support from the general public, our
students and parents and the business community.
Your support is vital to the
Ballet. Please help us to continue offering
the best in dance by supporting the Ballet today.
As a 501(c) 3 tax exempt status organization, your
gift to the Ballet is tax-deductible.
There are many ways that you can help.
Annual Fund
Please give to our annual fund.
Contributions are accepted year round and donor
benefits are outlined under Annual Fund.

the Ballet while getting your business name in front
of a well-educated, professional audience.
Estate planning
Planned giving can benefit both the donor
and the Ballet. Please contact the development
office and ask about Estate Planning.
Gifts of property & stock
Consider gifts of property or stock, which offer tax
advantages to the donor.
Volunteer
There are volunteer opportunities,
including involvement with The Guild. Call the
box office to inquire.
Be an ambassador
Do you know an individual or company that might be
interested in supporting the Ballet’s performance or
