Alexa started ballet at the age of 3 in Dublin, Ohio. She trained there with BalletMet Columbus until the age of 14, performing in multiple company productions throughout the years. At 14 she began training at Columbus City Ballet School under the direction of Shir Lee Wu, performing often and competing in YAGP. After graduating high school, Alexa spent 3 years as an Apprentice with Carolina Ballet, performing in almost all company shows and working closely with Mark Diamond and Patricia McBride. In 2013, Alexa became a soloist at The Georgia Ballet and has greatly enjoyed her years in the company. She has performed many roles, with some of her favorites being Dew Drop in Nutcracker and Katrina in Sleepy Hollow. Alexa is excited to start her 9th year in the company at The Georgia Ballet, and is now also acting as the Recreational Division Director of the School of the Georgia Ballet.
