Born and raised in Santa Clarita, California, Danielle Lieberman began her dance training at the age of four with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy. At age 13, she joined the SCB Company where she studied RAD and completed her Advanced 2 certificate with Distinction. In her time there, she was able to perform many roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty. Since then, Danielle has graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in ballet, studying under Susan Jaffe and Jared Redick and was a professional trainee with Charlotte Ballet under direction of Hope Muir and Patricia McBride. Her performance highlights include the Snow Queen in Ethan Stiefel’s The Nutcracker, Aszure Barton’s Happy Little Things, and George Balanchine’s Donizetti Variations. She has spent summers training at the Bolshoi Ballet and Juilliard School intensives, and in 2019 was invited to perform at YAGP’s International Dance School Festival as part of Ilya Kozadayev’s Dream(s)pace cast. This will be Danielle’s second year dancing with the Georgia Ballet and she can’t wait to see what this season holds!
