Elizabeth Chapman
Elizabeth is thrilled to be dancing in her twelfth season with The Georgia Ballet. Elizabeth began her training with The Springfield Ballet Company in her hometown of Springfield, Illinois. She has also trained with American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet School, The Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, and Nashville Ballet, where she danced for two years prior to joining The Georgia Ballet. Elizabeth has especially enjoyed performing the title roles in Paquita and Janusz Mazon's Firebird, Waltz Girl in Balanchine's Serenade, Turning Girl in Balanchine's Who Cares?, as well as Dew Drop, Snow Queen, and The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. In addition to The Georgia Ballet, Elizabeth also performs with Dance Canvas and The Lume Foundation in Atlanta. When not performing, Elizabeth's passion lies in sharing her knowledge and love of dance through teaching ballet to students of all ages.
