Recreational Division, Ages 6+
The Recreational Division is for students 7 through 18 looking to learn or continue their dance education in a fun and enjoyable environment. Classes are offered for any skill level and in different disciplines. 

A Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $55 is due per family upon registration.

Intro to Ballet 1, Ages 6-7

Length: 1 Hour and 15 Minutes | Cost: $75.00/month

This class will introduce younger students to basic ballet vocabulary and technique in a structured yet fun setting.  Simple  coordination, musicality, rhythm and concentration will be emphasized.   Students will learn more difficult combinations, work at the ballet  barre and learn ballet etiquette.

Length: Twice a week for 2 Hours | Cost: $106.00/month

This class will continue to introduce younger students to basic ballet vocabulary and technique in a structured yet fun setting.  Simple coordination, musicality, rhythm, and concentration will be emphasized.  Students will learn more difficult combinations, work at the ballet barre, and learn ballet etiquette.

Ballet 1, Ages 8-10

Length: 1.5 Hours, 2 times a week | Cost: $137.00/month

With two ballet classes each week, students will learn the basics of ballet technique and will see consistent growth and improvement. It is more formal and gives students the discipline to mature as dancers.  The importance of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be emphasized.  Basics of performing and ballet history will be introduced.

Ballet 2, Ages 8-10

Length: 1.5 Hours, 2 times a week | Cost: $137.00/month

Prerequisite: Ballet 1

Ballet 2 cultivates a young ballerina in a more focused manner than Ballet 1. With two ballet classes each week, students will develop the basics of ballet technique and will see consistent growth and improvement. Ballet 2 builds on Ballet 1 vocabulary and physical strength. The importance of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be emphasized. Artistry is introduced as an element to their training.

Beginning Ballet, Ages 8-12

Length:  1 Hour | Cost $66.00/month

This class is designed for the beginning dancer.  Students will be introduced to ballet vocabulary and technique.  Strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality will be explored.  Those seeking to pursue ballet more seriously are encouraged to take Ballet 1 or Ballet 2, depending on abilities.

Jazz and Tap , Ages 7-10

Length: 1 Hour | Cost: $66.00/month

Jazz dance is fun and energetic!  The class will include a warm-up with stretching, isolations, strengthening exercises, and moves across the floor.  Students will learn basic turns, leaps, jumps, and runs set to age appropriate music. Tap is a great change of pace for dancers who have had significant training and want to enhance their dynamics and versatility. Dancers with previous tap experience of 2-3 years will enjoy this class as a fun way to enhance coordination, rhythm, and performance skills.

Lyrical & Contemporary, Ages 7-10

Length: 1 Hour | Cost: $66.00/month

Lyrical dance is a combination of classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance which transforms words into visual art.  Students will learn to dance expressively, being both subtle and dynamic, while conveying musicality and emotion through movement. This class will push students to cultivate their skills for movement while adding in the emotional element to the performance of lyrical and contemporary styles of dance.

Pointe Class

Pre-Requisite: 3-6 Months of previous pointe work. 


Mondays 7:30-8:30pm | Cost: $66/month | Begins January 2022

This class is great for those who are approved to start pointe and for dancers who want to continue strengthening their pointe work. Outside students must already have been approved for pointe work, for 3 to 6 months minimum, in order to be considered for this class.

Teen Ballet 1 & 2, Ages 13+

Length: 1.0 Hour   | Cost: $66 - Teen Ballet 1

Length: 1.5 Hours | Cost: $80 - Teen Ballet 2

Basic ballet vocabulary, technique and etiquette, as well as stretches and strengthening, and barre work will be introduced.  An hour and a half class is the classical structure for the ballet environment to optimize a dancer’s learning and consistency and allows simple coordination, musicality, rhythm, and concentration to be emphasized.

Teen  Int. Adv. classes are for dancers with four or more years of training  (ages 13+) but limited in schedule. Options for classes are Tuesday,  Wednesday and/or Thursdays.  Dancers may commit to any one of the three, or all three day options, on a monthly based tuition rate.


Classes are  geared towards the intermediate to advanced ballet dancer needing to  keep up their technique and physical condition while not committing to a  strict pre-professional program of training.  Technique  classes are offered prior to pointe/variations/contemporary classes and  will be required to attend beforehand in order to sign up for  pointe/variations/contemporary.
