Jazz dance is fun and energetic! The class will include a warm-up with stretching, isolations, strengthening exercises, and moves across the floor. Students will learn basic turns, leaps, jumps, and runs set to age appropriate music. Tap is a great change of pace for dancers who have had significant training and want to enhance their dynamics and versatility. Dancers with previous tap experience of 2-3 years will enjoy this class as a fun way to enhance coordination, rhythm, and performance skills.
Mondays 6:30-7:30 pm with Alexa Goldberg
Girls: Approved Motionwear leotards in ballet class level with black shorts and black slip on jazz shoes.
Boys: White fitted shirt with black tights and white calf height socks. Black jazz shoes.
