Jessica, 21, is currently in her fourth season as a member of the corps de ballet with The Georgia Ballet. She has been dancing for 18 years, including eleven years with The Georgia Ballet. Jessica began her training at Springfield Ballet in Missouri and, after moving to Georgia in 2015, continued her training with the International City School of Ballet and Roswell Dance Theatre. She joined The Georgia Ballet after attending its 2016 summer intensive and has remained with the company since. In the summer of 2022, she trained on scholarship with Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, Florida. Jessica has competed in several ballet competitions, including the 2023 Youth America Grand Prix, where she placed in the Top 12 for senior classical solo and Top 24 for senior contemporary solo. Some of her favorite roles include Clara in The Nutcracker, a Lost Boy in Peter Pan, and the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. She is excited for the upcoming season!

Maya Beck is originally from downtown Chicago and began her studies of dance at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts. Throughout her training, Maya was very fortunate to participate in several cultural exchange programs with dance schools around the world. In high school, she traveled to Havana, Cuba three times to train and perform with the Cuban National Ballet School. She later traveled to A Coruña, Spain and danced alongside the students of the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza. After graduation, Maya continued her professional training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she received opportunities to perform a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire. Some of her favorites include George Balanchine’s Symphonie Concertante, and a ballet choreographed by Tom Gold, titled The Next Stop is… . In 2023, she graduated from UNCSA with her BFA in Ballet Performance, and spent the subsequent season at The Georgia Ballet as a student trainee. Maya is thrilled to now be in her third season with the professional company as a Corps de Ballet member!

Atlanta native Marygrace Campbell began her training at The Buford School Of Ballet and Metropolitan ballet Theatre before continuing professionally with Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia. Over her 15 years of training, she earned numerous awards and scholarships from American Academy of ballet, Houston Ballet, Charlotte Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Sacramento Ballet. Her summer studies included intensive at AAB– Vassar College, AAB – SUNY purchase, Tulsa Ballet, Houston Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and the Sarasota Ballet. Upon graduating, Marygrace was invited on scholarship to join the Sarasota Ballet as a trainee before joining the Georgia Ballet. As she looks forward to her third season as a corps de ballet member with the Georgia Ballet, Marygrace gives all glory to Jesus and thanks her family and friends for their constant love and support. Rose Castell was born in North Carolina and started dancing at four years old. During high school she trained with the Charlotte Ballet Academy under esteemed teachers including Patricia McBride, Lazlo Berdo, and Katie Mayo. There she had the opportunity to perform in Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s original choreography in Charlotte Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Rose continued her training at The University of North Carolina School for the Arts. There she trained in the top level under Jennet Zerbe and Laura Martin. She had many performance opportunities including Serenade, Symphony Concertante, Firebird, and several contemporary works. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship, and a certification in teaching Pilates. After graduating, she moved to Georgia to join The Georgia Ballet as a company dancer. This is Rose’s third season with The Georgia Ballet.

Elaina is from Knoxville, TN and grew up dancing with the Oak Ridge Civic Ballet association and training at A Dancer’s Place under Jan Valenti. During her time at ORCBA she performed several classical works including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker. During high school, she spent her summers training at the Nashville Ballet, UNCSA, and the Boston Ballet. At these intensives she had the opportunity to work with amazing instructors including Julia Eisen, Michelle Gifford, and Miranda Weese. She was also a 2022 scholarship recipient of the Anthony Quinn foundation and the Dancing Angels foundation. This is Elaina's third season with the Georgia Ballet, and she is looking forward to all performances this season!

A Georgia native, Maddy Crone trained at Steps of Faith from 2011–2016, where she performed in lead roles. She danced with the Orangeburg Civic Ballet in South Carolina during the 2017–2018 season, performing as the Dew Drop and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker and Tiger Lily in Peter Pan. After graduating high school, Maddy spent one year with the company at The Georgia Ballet and three years with Addereth Contemporary Ballet. She is currently in her second season with The Georgia Ballet. Maddy is also a teacher at The School of the Georgia Ballet, where she teaches ballet and contemporary.

Mia began her ballet training at age six with The Georgia Ballet where she progressed through the School, Conservatory, and Trainee Program. Following her graduation from The Georgia Ballet School she spent two years with Ballet West Academy in the Professional Training Division under the instruction of Bridget Payne, Courtney Hellebuyck, Katherine Lawrence, Catherine Batcheller, and Evelyn Cisneros-Legate. She performed many different roles with Ballet West Academy including the Coulante Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. From there Mia continued her training with The Sarasota Ballet as a Trainee. For the last two years she has grown her passion for dance under the instruction of Christopher Hird, Dierdre Miles-Burger, Addul Manzano, and Risa Kaplowitz. Her favorite roles with The Sarasota Ballet include Waltz of the Flowers demi-soloist and Spanish lead. Mia is thrilled to be returning home for her first season with The Georgia Ballet's professional company.

Kristina Deamer is beginning her second third as a corps member with The Georgia Ballet. She began dancing at the age of three and trained for 15 years at the Lionville School of Dance in Downingtown, PA, where she studied a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap. During her training, she competed in numerous competitions such as YAGP and Imagine Dance, performing across multiple disciplines. Kristina also attended several summer intensives throughout her training, including programs with the Dallas Conservatory, Orlando Ballet, and the University of South Carolina. After graduating high school, she moved to Georgia to train in the School of the Georgia Ballet's conservatory program, dancing as a student trainee with the professional company. Following her graduation from the conservatory, she joined The Georgia Ballet Company and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to train and perform alongside its dedicated faculty and artists.

Madelyn is entering her second season dancing professionally with Georgia Ballet. She joined the company in 2025 after graduating from Western Kentucky University’s Mahurin Honors College with a double major in Dance and Ballet Pedagogy. As a member of the WKU Dance Company from 2021–2025, Madelyn performed in works including “Beethoven Séptima Sinfonía,” choreographed by Jorge Lefebre, “Fairy Doll” after Joseph Hassreiter, and “Bluebird Pas de Deux” after Marius Petipa. Madelyn’s training and performance experience include both classical and contemporary ballet. She has presented original choreography, including a contemporary ballet pas de deux, and participated in adjudicated student choreography productions. She also received a Faculty Undergraduate Student Research Grant to study ballet partnering across different eras, with opportunities to engage with Dutch National Ballet and Miami City Ballet. Outside of the company, she teaches ballet and other dance styles at studios throughout the surrounding area. Madelyn is excited to continue developing as an artist and performer with Georgia Ballet and looks forward to another season.

Grace grew up in the small town of Enumclaw, WA, where she performed a wide variety of productions with youth company Plateau Ballet Repertory Theatre throughout her childhood. She graduated from Enumclaw High School, earning her Associates degree from Green River College at the same time. After graduation, Grace was a trainee with State Street Ballet, while also performing with contemporary company Selah Dance Co. She then joined Charlottesville Ballet as a trainee and instructor for 2 seasons. Grace started at The Georgia Ballet as a Student Trainee in 2024, where she got the opportunity to train and perform alongside both the school and the company. This will be her 2nd season in the professional company, and she is very excited to continue dancing with GAB!

Marisol Lockhart was born and raised in Georgia. She began her dance training at Buford School of Ballet when she was 2 years old, and joined their preprofessional company, Georgia Christian Dance Theatre at 12 years old. Soon after, she joined the Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia under the instruction of Andrea Pell when she was 13. At the age of 16, Marisol received a trainee position with the Charlotte Ballet, and relocated to North Carolina in order to train under the instruction of Laszlo Berdo, Kati Mayo, and the legendary Patricia McBride for 2 years from 2023-2025. While at Charlotte Ballet, Marisol had the opportunity to perform a solo from the Odalisque pas de trois, and George Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux under the guidance of Patricia McBride. While at Charlotte Ballet, she also had the amazing opportunity to be interviewed by Pointe Magazine. Upon completion of high school, she joined the Georgia Ballet’s Second Company for one season before being promoted to the professional company for the 2026/2027 season. Marisol is excited to see the fruits that this season will bring!

Sarah Beth is from Tupelo, Mississippi and began her ballet training at North Mississippi Dance Center under the direction of Sarah Karrant. She then joined the Tupelo Civic Ballet pre-professional company, where she danced until graduating high school. She then attended the University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor’s degree in dance. At Alabama, she was also a member of the university’s repertory company. After college, Sarah Beth joined the Georgia Ballet as a student trainee before being promoted to the company for the 2025-2026 season.

Kyra Opdyke is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and began her early dance training in Maryland before returning to Atlanta to study at the Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance under Susan Beebe. She graduated cum laude with High Distinction from Butler University, where she earned a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and a minor in Music, specializing in voice. While at Butler Ballet, Kyra performed leading roles including Dew Drop and Arabian Lead in The Nutcracker and Fastrada in Butler Theatre’s production of Pippin. She also performed in George Balanchine’s Serenade, staged by Deborah Wingert, and Ourfire, a new work by Jennifer Archibald. Additionally, Kyra has attended summer intensives with Atlanta Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and The Kirov Academy. This is Kyra’s third season as a Corps de Ballet member with The Georgia Ballet, where she has been featured as the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland, as well as Queen of the Ghouls and Lucy in Dracula. In addition to ballet, Kyra performs in the Atlanta theatre community as a singer and actor and teaches at local dance studios. She is excited to continue growing as an artist with The Georgia Ballet!

Carys Rieppel is originally from Columbus, Ohio, where she began her training at Dublin Dance Center and Gymnastics. She attended numerous summer intensives, including Joffrey Chicago and BalletMet. Carys became a BalletMet Trainee in 2023 before joining Roanoke Ballet Theatre for a season. She joined The Georgia Ballet in 2025 and is thrilled to be returning for her second season to continue growing and dancing with the company.

Haley Rohr began dancing at age 8 in Savannah, GA. She has trained year-round at The Orlando Ballet School under the direction of Dierdre Burger, followed by a two year Traineeship at Philadelphia Ballet(formerly Pennsylvania Ballet). She is a graduate of the Alonzo King Lines BFA Program with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in English, Emphasis on Creative Writing. Haley has trained at many summer intensives including Miami City Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Sacramento Ballet, etc; her favorite roles have been Waltz Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Five Girls in George Balanchine’s Who Cares, and Colby Damon’s original solo work Ally. As a corps de ballet member at The Georgia Ballet, she is also a teacher, choreographer, and Assistant School Director of The School of Georgia Ballet. Haley Rohr has previously presented her original works and placed at the following: The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival 2025, ABC/IBC and Ballet Championships America. She is looking forward to her fourth season.

Lilla was born and raised in Macon, GA. She began her ballet training at the age of three under the instruction of Jean Weaver and Alice Sheridan at Dance Arts Studio. She was a member of Middle GA Youth Ballet, a non-profit organization, for four years. Lilla also danced in Middle GA's production of The Nutcracker for ten years where she enjoyed many roles; among her favorites were Columbine Doll and Clara. She trained summers away at CPYB in Pennsylvania, Next Generation Ballet in Tampa and Carolina Ballet in NC. After graduating high school from First Presbyterian Day School in 2023, she continued her education at the University of South Carolina for one year majoring in dance and is now continuing her studies online. In 2024, Lilla joined GA Ballet as a student trainee in 2024 and she is now entering her second seasobn as a Corps de Ballet company member.

Miranda Thomas, a professional dancer with The Georgia Ballet, began dancing at age 3. At age 8, she began to focus her training on developing her ballet and contemporary technique. From ages 12-15 she trained with Miguel Campaneria, and from 16-19 she attended the professional training program at Cary Ballet Conservatory under the direction of Mariaelena Ruiz. While at CBC, she was given the amazing opportunity to perform in Balanchine’s Serenade, set by renowned ballerina Suzanne Farrell. Miranda completed a two-year trainee program at the Florida Ballet, before joining The Georgia Ballet in 2025.

Iris VanWieren began dancing at four years old and started her early training at Buford School of Ballet, where she developed a deep love for the arts. Throughout her childhood, she moved multiple times but continued dancing and exploring a variety of styles, including tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, and English country dancing. After returning to Georgia, Iris joined the Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia to further her training under Andrea Pell, while also dancing with Buford School of Ballet. After completing high school, Iris joined and graduated from Ballet 5:8’s Trainee Program, where she became teacher certified in three levels of the Vaganova ballet technique. During this time, she performed in several ballets, including The Dreamer as Leah and Wayward Daughter as the Queen/Mother, where she performed her first pas de deux. Iris later danced with Ballet Hartford, performing a wide range of classical and contemporary works by guest choreographers. Along with this, she performed as a guest artist in Swan Lake for Woodbury Ballet. Iris is now back in Georgia dancing with the Georgia Ballet’s professional company, teaching ballet, and pursuing a degree in Business Management at Kennesaw State University—living out her dream.
