Founded in 1960 by Marietta native Iris Hensley, The Georgia Ballet is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring the public through professional ballet performance, unparalleled dance training and meaningful community outreach. We are continuously growing to meet the needs of the community while fulfilling our reputation as an outstanding arts organization.

If you are looking for an affordable and convenient way to support The Georgia Ballet, we would like you to consider becoming a monthly or quarterly donor by joining the Iris Society.
The Georgia Ballet’s Iris Society is our monthly giving program, created to provide long-term sustainability. Named in honor of our late-founder, Iris Hensley, the Iris Society supports the vision and mission of The Georgia Ballet and ensures that we are able to provide professional ballet performances, unparalleled dance training, and meaningful community outreach, while preserving the art of classical ballet, for many generations to come.
Your support, no matter the size, is important in sustaining our artistic excellence and endeavors. Joining the Iris Society, our treasured community of monthly donors, is the safest, simplest, and most effective way to support The Georgia Ballet!
As a thank you for being a part of our community here at The Georgia Ballet, members of the Iris Society will receive exclusive perks and benefits based on the following membership levels:
Soloist - $10+ per month
Inclusion of your name in the program for each production
Principal - $25+ per month
All of the above, plus:
10% discount on tickets to each production
Choreographer - $45+ per month
All of the above, plus:
Exclusive backstage access after each show
Choreographer - $85+ per month
All of the above, plus:
Invitation to a dress rehearsal followed by a meet and greet with the dancers and
Artistic Director
Choreographer - $450+ per month
All of the above, plus:
2 tickets to our annual mix-and-mingle gathering with the company, staff, and Board
