Conservatory Programs
Dancers ages 10 and older with 1-2 years of pointework and of intermediate and advanced levels may audition. You must be in the audition for consideration of scholarship and a spot in the 2024/25 Program.
Auditions will be held Saturday, March 23th 1:30-3pm.
To register to audition, please email ahensley@georgiaballet.org
Conservatory programs provide a unique opportunity for students to receive an accelerated and diverse dance curriculum during the daytime. Students will train 3 hours a day during the week, with optional additional hours on Saturdays or during the evening. They will also be afforded the opportunity to perform with The Georgia Ballet Professional Company and compete at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and/or Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).
Implemented by School Director Ashleyanne Hensley, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide a base of strong classical ballet technique with additional classes in disciplines such as pointe, repertoire, partnering, contemporary, modern, jazz, musical theater, injury prevention and others.
The Conservatory program is led in conjunction with Faculty members Lauri Worrill-Biggs, Margit Peguero, Daet Rodriguez, Kelsey Shackleford and Cassandra Broussard.
