Conservatory Programs

Dancers ages 10 and older with 1-2 years of pointework and of intermediate and advanced levels may audition.  You must be in the audition for consideration of scholarship and a spot in the 2021/22 Program.

Conservatory programs provide a unique opportunity for students to receive an accelerated and diverse dance curriculum during the daytime. Students will train 3 hours a day during the week, with optional additional hours on Saturdays or during the evening. They will also be afforded the opportunity to perform with The Georgia Ballet Professional Company and compete at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and/or Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).

Implemented by School Director Ashleyanne Hensley, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide a base of strong classical ballet technique with additional classes in disciplines such as pointe, repertoire, character, contemporary, modern, jazz, musical theater, dance history, anatomy and others.

The Conservatory program is led by faculty member Lauri Worrill-Biggs, and taught by Margit Peguero, Daet Rodriguez, Ashleyanne Hensley, Leslie Parker and Courtney Locke.
