Volunteers are crucial to the success of the programs and productions of The Georgia Ballet and School. We greatly appreciate all of the support given to us by volunteers. 

 

Volunteer work with The Georgia Ballet is done in the following areas:

• Performance Support;

• Marketing;

• Concessions at Theatre performances;

• Merchandise sales at Theatre performances;

• Hospitality; and

• Special Events.

 

PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE

​

Mounting a professional production requires a lot of preparation and volunteers are crucial in ensuring the success of each performance.  Volunteering for production could include the following:

​

• Chaperoning students backstage during performances

• Ushering

• Box Office Assistance

• Backstage Assistance

• Sewing/Costumes

• Set Construction/Prop Assistance

 

DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE

​

• Community Awareness

• Special Events

• Acquiring In-Kind Donation

• Fundraising

 

MARKETING ASSISTANCE

​

• Distribution of posters and flyers in the community

• Stuffing Playbill inserts for each production.
