PRE-PROFESSIONAL DIVISION

Beginning at age 9, students may audition for The Georgia Ballet's Pre-Professional Division, an accelerated training program designed for dedicated dancers who wish to pursue ballet at a higher level. Placement is based on technical ability, artistic potential, and readiness for the program.

Students train three to seven days per week, depending on their level, receiving comprehensive instruction designed to prepare them for collegiate and professional opportunities. Dancers in the Pre-Professional Division regularly earn acceptance and scholarships to prestigious summer intensives across the country and internationally, and have been recognized for their excellence at leading ballet competitions, including the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).
