About The Georgia Ballet
Founded in 1960 by Marietta native Iris Hensley, The Georgia Ballet is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring the public through professional ballet performance, unparalleled dance training and meaningful community outreach. We are continuously growing to meet the needs of the community while fulfilling our reputation as an outstanding arts organization.
Primary Ballet Division, Ages 3-5
Students ages 3-5 begin in the Primary Ballet Division where they learn the foundations of dance and creative movement. Lessons introduce ballet steps and develop beginning ballet techniques. Students will develop coordination and confidence by expressing themselves in new ways and by learning how to socialize, work and learn with others.
A Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $55 is due per family upon registration.
Primary Ballet/Tap, Age 3-5
Length: 1 Hour
Dancers will enjoy this one hour interactive class that engages imagination, creativity, and musicality. Students will begin to learn more challenging steps, terminology, and proper warm-ups and stretches for the body.

Tuesdays at 5:30-6:30pm with Charlotte Reeves
Thursdays at 4:15-5:15pm with Kristina Karol
Saturdays at 10:00-11:00am with Maddy Crone
Uniform:
Girls: Light Pink or Blue leotard without a skirt with pink tights and pink leather ballet shoes.
Boys: Fitted white shirt and black shorts with white socks and white ballet shoes. Black tap shoes for tap.
Primary Jazz/Hip Hop Age 3-5
Length: 45 Minutes
Young dancers will explore music, choreography and commerical dance styles in this introductory curriculum. Students will develop coordination and confidence by expressing themselves in new ways and by learning how to socialize, work, and learn with others.

Saturdays at 11:00-11:45 with Maddy Crone
Uniform:
Girls: Light Pink or Light Blue leotard with black jazz pants or shorts, with black jazz shoes and any color tennis shoes or sneakers.
Boys: Fitted white shirt and black shorts with black jazz shoes and any color tennis shoes or sneakers.
