About The Georgia Ballet
Founded in 1960 by Marietta native Iris Hensley, The Georgia Ballet is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring the public through professional ballet performance, unparalleled dance training and meaningful community outreach. We are continuously growing to meet the needs of the community while fulfilling our reputation as an outstanding arts organization.
Nicole Khoo
Growing up in Singapore, Nicole started learning Chinese classical dance in pre-school. She started training in ballet under Donato C. Ferrer and has received distinctions in both the CSTD and RAD vocational grades. As part of the Singapore Dance Theatre's pre-professional scholarship program, she had the opportunity to train under Artistic Director, Janek Schergen, principal dancers Rosa Park, Chihiro Uchida,Etienne Ferrere, and Megumi Sugita. She was a dancer with Tampa Ballet Theatre for 2 seasons and enjoyed dancing soloist and lead roles in Giselle, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Coppelia, Flower Festival at Genzano, and The Nutcracker among others. This is Nicole's second season with The Georgia Ballet.
