HELP DREAMS TAKE CENTER STAGE
Founded in 1960 by Marietta native Iris Hensley, The Georgia Ballet is one of the oldest and most respected nonprofit arts organizations in Metro Atlanta, and is a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring the public through professional ballet performance, unparalleled dance training, and meaningful community outreach to people of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. For 65 years, we’ve nurtured talent, built careers, and made ballet a cultural cornerstone in Cobb County. But as a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of community members like you to continue funding our Scholarship Fund.
Your donation makes an impact. As a valued donor, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to in-studio showings and events with our company, receive recognition in our playbill*, and most importantly, become a champion for the arts in Georgia.
Support The Georgia Ballet’s Scholarship Fund and ensure no child is turned away from the joy of dance.
*Donations above $500 received before December 3, 2025, will be eligible for acknowledgment in our Nutcracker playbill. If received after this date, it will be included in The Wizard of Oz playbill through the next calendar year of donation.

WHY YOUR GIFT MATTERS
High-quality ballet training changes lives, but for many Cobb families, it’s financially out of reach. With tuition ranging from $5,000–$10,000, parents often face a heartbreaking choice: support their child’s talent or take on an overwhelming financial strain.
The Georgia Ballet Scholarship Fund eliminates these barriers by offering full and partial aid to talented students based on need and merit, including supporting those in our special needs and Title 1 school outreach programs.
We also provide free second-hand shoes to students in need, so your donation goes directly toward what matters most: training, performance opportunities, and inclusion.
