
TEEN BALLET DIVISION (Ages 13 - 18)
The Recreational Teen Division is for students 13 through 18 looking to learn or continue their dance education in an enjoyable environment without the time commitment of a full pre-professional program. Classes are offered for any skill level and in different disciplines.
Teen Ballet Beginner & Intermediate
Mondays: Intermediate ballet from 6-7:30pm, pre/beginner pointe from 7:30-8pm with Jessica Baldwin

Tuesdays: Intermediate technique with Lauri Worrill-Biggs

Wednesdays: Beginner/Intermediate ballet from 5:30-6:30 with Lex Everett
The class is the classical structure for the ballet environment to optimize a dancer’s learning and consistency and allows simple coordination, musicality, rhythm, and concentration to be emphasized. Basic ballet vocabulary, technique, etiquette, stretches and strengthening, as well as barre work will be introduced.
Teen Ballet Advanced
Monday: Ballet from 5:30-7pm, Pointe from 7-7:30pm with Haley Schmitt

Saturday: Ballet from 10-11:30am with Bailey Goss
Contemporary dance is a combination of classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance which transforms words into visual art. Students will learn to dance expressively, being both subtle and dynamic, while conveying musicality and emotion through movement. This class will push students to cultivate their skills for movement while adding in an emotional element to the performance of lyrical and contemporary styles of dance.
Teen Ballet Jazz

Classes: Monday Intermediate from 6-7:30pm, Monday Advanced from 7:30-8:30pm
Jazz dance is fun and energetic! The class will include a warm-up with stretching, isolations, strengthening exercises, and movement across the floor. Students will learn basic turns, leaps, jumps, and runs set to age-appropriate music. Tap is a great change of pace for dancers who have had significant training and want to enhance their dynamics and versatility. Dancers with previous tap experience of 0-3 years will enjoy this class as a fun way to enhance coordination, rhythm, and performance skills.
Teen Contemporary

Teen Contemporary is an exciting optional class for dancers looking to expand their versatility and artistic expression. Blending ballet technique with modern movement, this class focuses on fluidity, musicality, creativity, and emotional storytelling while helping dancers develop strength, flexibility, and performance quality. It is a wonderful addition to a dancer's weekly training and complements their regular ballet classes.
